Characteristics

Furca claws on a short appendage of the postabdomen. Appendage and base of claws with fine pricks.
Body arched and laterally compressed. Mucro and before this a bristle. Chemosensory bristles of antennula
far apart from the tip of it. No nauplius eye. 5 pairs of phyllopodes.

Habitate
|
Mostly planktonic, in ponds, lakes.
